Edinburgh Zoo can be easily accessed via public transport with high frequency bus services from Edinburgh city centre. There are two bus stops outside the front entrance. Lothian 12, 26 and, 31 services all stop outside and can be picked up near both Haymarket and Waverly Station or in the city centre. The 100 Airlink Service stops regularly outside our front entrance and operates between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre.
Please note that car parking spaces are limited. You will find two electric car charging points in the zoo’s main car park in dedicated parking bays which are free to use. During the day, some parking can also be found within the vicinity of the zoo.
Its important you plan ahead when visiting any establishment or open space and to check on any changes that have been brought about by COVID-19. Measures such as social distancing have changed the way business operate and you may need to book ahead or wear facemasks.
